Delete Your Account

At Loosen, you own your data. You can delete your account—and all the personal data we hold about you—at any time, with no questions asked. This page explains exactly how to do it, what gets deleted, and what (if anything) we are legally required to keep.

1. Delete Your Account from Inside the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the App:

  1. Open the Loosen App on your iPhone or Android device.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Open Settings.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the deletion.

Your account is closed immediately and all associated personal data is permanently erased from our servers within 30 days. You will be signed out of every device.

2. Delete Your Account by Email

If you can no longer access the App (for example, you uninstalled it or lost access to your device), you can request deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to hi@stretcha.co from the email address associated with your Loosen account.
  2. Use the subject line: "Delete my account".
  3. We will verify your identity via that email and confirm deletion within 7 days.

There is no fee. We will not ask you to justify the request.

3. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following personal data is permanently erased from our servers:

  • Account and authentication credentials (email address, password hash, or Apple/Google sign-in identifier).
  • Profile information (name, age band, experience level, goals, lifestyle, target areas, self-reported health conditions, preferred session time, notification preferences).
  • Flexibility assessment results and per-area Flexibility Scores.
  • Health and activity aggregates derived from Apple Health or Health Connect (raw Health samples never leave your device).
  • Session history, streaks, total minutes stretched, and adaptive plan progress.
  • Post-session feedback.
  • AI chat history and any prompts you sent through the Build with AI feature.
  • Your AI and Health consent records.

4. What We May Retain

A small amount of data may be retained after account deletion, but only where we are legally required to or where it has been fully anonymized:

  • Anonymous analytics events (via PostHog): retained indefinitely but not linked to your name, email, or user ID—they cannot be used to identify you.
  • Subscription and payment records (via RevenueCat, Apple, and Google): retained for up to 7 years as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law in the EU and other jurisdictions. These records contain transaction IDs and purchase amounts—no fitness, health, or profile data.
  • Backups: encrypted backups are rotated on a 30-day cycle. Your data is fully purged from backups within 30 days of account deletion.

5. Timeframe

In-app deletion takes effect immediately and is fully propagated across our servers and backups within 30 days. Email-based deletion is confirmed within 7 days of your request and is fully propagated within 30 days.

6. Subscriptions

Deleting your Loosen account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed by Apple or Google. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription separately in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) before deleting your account. We do not have the ability to refund or cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
